About Us
Jonathan J. Greenstein, PH.D. Dr. Greenstein has over 25 years of experience working with children and families in clinical settings. He provides individual, group and family therapy at the TBFTC as well as supervision to all other Psychologists, therapists and staff members. He specializes in treating children with Attention-deficit Hyperactivity disorder, Anxiety disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome, and general behavioral and emotional difficulties. Prior to opening the Tampa Bay Family Therapy Center, Dr. Greenstein directed the Psychological Services for the Child Development Center as part of the Children’s Hospital at St. Joseph’s. After graduating from the CUNY system in New York with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Dr. Greenstein attended Florida State University. At FSU he earned a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. jointly majoring in School and Child Clinical Psychology. He then advanced his studies in Pediatric Psychology and Family Therapy while completing an internship at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He completed post-doctoral training for two years at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Pittsburgh, where he directed outpatient services at the Attention-deficit Disorder Clinic. Reflecting his training and philosophy the TBFTC emphasizes combining the best behavioral and cognitive-behavioral technique available. We strongly advocate for patients in their school settings, work with parents closely, and collaborate with medical professionals to monitor therapeutic benefits of pharmacologic intervention. |
Kelly O’Brien, Ph.D. Dr. O’Brien received her Bachelor’s Degree and then her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Edinburg University in her home state of Pennsylvania. After receiving her degrees she worked at a therapeutic residential center for children. She then moved to Tampa Bay area to pursue and complete her doctorate in School Psychology at the University of South Florida. During this time she worked, studied, and provided direct service at the Child Development Center, part of Children’s Hospital at St. Joseph’s, as well as in other child and family oriented settings. She comes back to the center part-time with extensive experience with evaluation, treatment, and consultation in both clinical and school settings. |
Cheryl Pe, Psy. S., NCSP Cheryl Pe received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida. She received her Specialist degree in School Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. She is a Licensed School Psychologist in the state of Florida; as well as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She currently works for the Pinellas County school district and has 14 years of experience. Ms. Pe is experienced at working with students identified with cognitive delays, autism, specific learning disabilities and varying exceptionalities from pre-kindergarten through college. Ms. Pe conducts psychoeducational evaluations to determine educational needs, learning characteristics, and behavioral needs relevant to educational planning and diagnoses. |
